My god Smith that quarter was just incredible - its like he had the entire offense on a string with his passes. It wasn't just exploiting Dirk on the pick and roll but on post up - broken plays, falling out of bounds he seemingly just knew where everyone was on the court.

Now consider how horrid he played in the first half just makes everything else all the more incredible. He was as good as I have ever seen him play tonight in that second half. There was one sequence - airballed 3 and then shot too hard 3 on the same possession late in the third - that was not good but played a perfect 4th.

Smith just needs to watch film of this second half - he played under poise and did not force anything. He defense and rebounding was key as well.

That was amazing performance by Josh Smith. Glad I taped it. I'm gonna watch it again & maybe my blood pressure won't be so high this time!

We can consider this an all-time Rockets performance, right? At least all time half, right?

I think Josh Smith was the epitome of Jekyll and Hyde this game lol.
So happy he flipped the script in the 2nd half.

We are totally destroying Dirk by putting him in a position to defend that PnR. Using their best player against them..

    Beautiful!

Incredible 4th by Jsmoove. He and D12 have great instincts together at times, and it showed tonight with Dallas collapsing on the ball in a panic.

and a good first half of game 2. had his teammates made those eeeeasy shots assisted by harden, rox led by 20 at half time.
to be fair, harden did not play well in the 2nd half.

An excellent point! Josh Smith seems to have a chip on his shoulder, while Rondo couldn't seem to care less.
