When I initially heard Innes fill in for Rome a few times (I can't..STAND Rome) I thought he was funny and kept it real. Now it's very apparent he's an idiot, and he's completely biased. There's a reason why Morey won't come on your show anymore, you're a dip****. I used to hate your co-anchor more, but now it's entirely on you Innes.
I was in the car it was quite hysterical, Josh and his geek squad voice. The caller was bringing up the fact how it had gotten personal between him and Morey since the interview where he attacked Morey's job. Josh never gave into the caller he just repeated " fine" a couple of times. Then changed topics off the interview.
Funny, I quit listening to 610 because of that guy too. Had no idea how many people disliked him. BTW, surprisingly he looks just like he sounds, I always pictured him to be a young, non-athletic, fat, little guy and he is, who knew!
This. I've been critical of Morey in the past, But this is the best tasting crow I've ever eaten. I said he couldn't land the big fish, but I've never been so glad to be wrong. Hat's off! I was wrong.
I don't listen to 610 anymore either because of Innes and John Lopez laughing at all of his own comments. Ugh.
Yea, I used to do 610 before the Rockets moved to 790. I was pretty happy to leave though, Josh Innes is torture to listen to.

I stopped listening to 610 because of him as well. I won't go into the many reason why but I can't stand the guy. I won't give 610 the ratings so I go to FM during commercials on 790.

I don't listen to 610 either. But I refuse to let Josh Innes' opinion on anything make me angry or affect me. I just could not care less.
It's dumbfounding to me that there are still a large contingent of mouth-breathers in this city that listen to 610. The Texans are only in season between September and January, and even then, Texans radio is its own persona now. There is absolutely no reason to listen to dumbasses like Josh Innes anymore. He's an absolute clown who has no desire to actually have an intelligent discussion regarding sports in this town. More than Innes though, I blame the management at SR610. It's obvious that every one of them is more interested in generating revenue for the station than they are in generating a forum for objective, well-reasoned discussion about the sports landscape in this city. I don't understand how it's not embarrassing for them to witness every single one of the INTELLIGENT radio personalities in this town gravitate towards 790. There's obviously a growing reputation within the industry that if you have more than 5 brain cells, you get out of 610 and move to 790 as quickly as possible.
