Is It could be the audience of charlie show is much different than what listens to Innes's show. Innes might have more listeners, but they might not be the kind of people the advertisers want.
Given that close to 50% (not even exaggerating) of these shows are basically commercials (either pre-taped ones, live ones, or flat-out jingles).... it will be very interesting. I just don't see where the extra listeners are going to come from. Ratings are down across all forms of AM radio. Some listen to the stream (which isn't counted in the ratings). Some listen to the podcasts. Some have abandoned the format altogether.
Why in the fk did he have to go after CP though? I refuse to listen to anything that comes out of this sad excuse for a human being's mouth so I didn't hear it. CP would clown all over this fool if he wanted to get into a war of words. CP has too much class to get into it with Josh though. Charlie has a very dry sense of humor, but would destroy Anus simply by just being 1000 times smarter than he could ever dream of.

Nope, he tries way too hard to be "that guy". Howard Stern has already owned this routine. I'll stick with my addicting Black Tapes Podcast and find more when I finish. I don't even listen to Stern any longer as his show has also just turned stale to me.

Tried to give it another shot today, but it was just more Charlie-bashing, 610-bashing, with dashes of random political/social commentary. Whenever I did hear some sports, it really wasn't that bad, but that seemed to be few and far between in the half-hour to 1 hour or so that I listened. With that, I think I'm done for afternoon sports talk on 790 for now. On a side-note, it seems as time goes on, Adam Clanton would make a good pairing with this guy. I'm not sure that's much of a compliment. lol.
The dude is trying so hard to be a douche. Shame. Used to be a laid-back dude who had fun with it. Now just seems like he's trying to mold himself into a corporate darling, either here or somewhere else he has friends.
I imagine he'll have the male enhancement and daily sports betting sites ads locked up. He's exactly what they target.
Demographic wise, not really the majority of the drive time population. Also, DFS isn't being pushed as much thanks to state legislation, and the male enhancement stuff isn't FDA approved, which puts more advertising restrictions on them.
No other way to listen to the Rockets game this morning. It's even being played on the I ♥ Radio App. I'll wash the nuts later.
He's probably gonna be a ratings success, and that's the name of the game. He's a useless POS, with limited sports knowledge who's a professional hater and loudmouth, and stupid people love that. And I don't think some of you realize how much stupid people eat that stuff up. It's the same reason Skip Bayless is a highly paid hot commodity. Skip knows sports, and was a respected writer, but he realized "hot takes" and being contrarian to get attention draws in stupid people. I hate it as a sports fan, but I can't really blame 790. The smart sports fan who actually likes to discuss nuances is very much the minority. And BTW if you do enjoy Josh Innes you are a stupid sports fan or a miserable person possibly both, hate to break it to you.
