BTW, I loved seeing that fire in Yao to get in there & bump Howard after that cheap foul & then giving Artest a pat on the back for charging in there. I love Artest as The Enforcerâ„¢ making sure people don't get to Yao. LOVE THIS SEASON ALREADY!
the play between Yao and Dampier was getting a little chippy. yao elbows dampier. damp trips yao. in the OP's clip Yao gives dampier a shove with his shoulder as he walks by before dampier spins around and artest goes for him NBA officiating is corrupt, players are not officiated equally. if you're still around after the donaghy stuff and all that uncovered you can accept that about the nba. otherwise you'd be long gone like so many of my friends. so of course any time ron RUNS towards anyone, no matter who or what the circumstances the corrupt refs will T him up. artest knew what he was doing. yao and damp were going back and forth and either this game or another the rough play would have escalated. ron running in there sends he message "it's not between you and yao, it's between you and US." you need someone like that sometimes on a punk like dampier to put some scare in him and get him to back down. he thinks he can clown and bully yao, but sending the message all the rockets aint taking **** will put a stop to all that
I just wrote this e-mail to the NBA... using the link above.. select "OFFICIATING" from the drop down. if enough of us do this... maybe they might take another look Dear NBA, Please see the intentional tripping of Yao Ming by Josh Howard at 8 or 9 seconds into the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZqAcmURpA8Q This is from yesterdays 10/30/08 game. This is clearly intentional and could have ended Yao Ming's season. Please see that dirty plays like this do not go unpunished. Thank you
that play or the anger kept Yao being efficient through all 4 quarters.... Yao needs Howard every game.
No doubt, you could see it when they showed it over and over. When Howard saw he was pushed he turned and looked like he wanted to do something until he saw that it was Ron Artest that touched him. Then Howard put his head down and looked at Yao. He wanted no part of Ron Ron.
Has anything in the past ever been looked at after the fact and action taken? I have little to no faith that something will be done and it irks me even more. One thing, how about all you season pass holders get together with everyone else who isn't on this forums and whenever Dallas comes to Houston start booing Howard only when ever he holds the ball?
I can't believe they called Yao for a foul on this play... They really did call a foul, but it's photoshopped
Howard should be baned from the league!!! who will insult his own national anthem!? and smokes pot as a pro player? in addition to his dirty cheap play. The Mavs origanization is getting worse
Howard's always been a dirty player and he's never shown me other wise, I'm just glad Yao didn't get hurt but seriously how the NBA has let him get away with all this crap is beyond me!
Josh howard has always been a punk. Josh howard seems to always want to pick a fight with Yao, with the dirty fouls, the hits, the stares. IM GLAD YAO GAVE HOWARD A LITTLE BUMP TO LET HIM KNOW THAT HE WASN"T GUNNA BACK DOWN. ps. i remember i think the 2005 playoffs when the rockets played the Mavs, Josh howard would ALWAYS stare down Yao.
I like yao become more agressive this season, anyone notice yao score and bump the nowizik and hit his mouth?
Did you also guys noticed that Josh Howard extended his foot behind Yao's leg before the technical? I think it was a cheap shot also...
