howards trip of yao was absolutely intentional. howard caught an unintentional elbow from yao on the play before, and was retaliating.

loss of respect for howard because the elbow he caught from yao, howard was behind yao and ran up and into the elbow. it was completely unintentional, no way yao could have seen him. no need to retaliate. and then he added a hard foul later in the game. we need dorsey on the floor to equalize these situations. artest is too valuable to get into anything.

"The Rockets are appealing the technical foul that forward Ron Artest received in the fourth quarter against the Mavericks on Thursday, and will also provide the NBA with video of Dallas forward Josh Howard apparently tripping Yao Ming earlier in the game, Rockets general manager Daryl Morey said."

The Rockets are sending the video to the league office of Howard intentionally tripping Yao.

I don't think Howard is going to make it the whole season, just a feeling.

Josh Howard's always been a punk, that why Bobby Sura slammed him in the playoffs a few yrs ago, and Howard didn't do anything. The same way when Artest came in and cleared him out, Howard ain't got no balls, and has to pick on Yao, causes he knows Yao ain't gonna clean his clock. J-Ho and Dallas sports all suck Big D.

dont think anything will happen. while i do thing howard did it intentionally it was inconclusive and really subtle, but if yao got injured then howard would be suspended.

Yao needs to use his thick legs as weapons and use them semi-intentionally in the same manner that Karl Malone always used his knee and leg to kick out and give him space in traffic. Malone would hurt more players with his knees and elbows and simply claim he was just "playing the game" and nothing intentional was going on. I'd love to see Yao just plow down the lane with his big ole tree trunk legs, especially against runts like Josh Howard. If Yao would intentionally-unintentionally manage to make some extreme contact on Howard's thighs or shins with his tree trunks, Howard would be out for the game and would probably seek to avoid contact from now on.

Yao, do it just once big man. It will turn you into a 35 ppg scorer.

I would like to see Yao swing those elbows violently a few times when defenders come looking to poke the ball loose. If Yao could just cause a concussion or two, a broken nose, and a few missing teeth then he would have 15rebs on top of those 35ppg

I wouldn't be surprised if he is the recipient of a flagrant 2.

I was done with this punk when I come in here, and now I'm twice as done.

Let him go next time. We finally have someone on this team who can show him what the crazy really looks like.

The NBA should make Josh Howard do a public service commercial with him being the poster boy for a new version of the "Brain on Drugs" ad. Better yet maybe someone could do some video editing and upload their own version on youtube.
