I don't see how this is a big deal, he didn't do anything that actually affected anyone. Thats his opinion and he has a right to it.
Is it "acting"? Depending on where and when you grew up, your so called "gangster" acting is not acting, but totally normal.
Well, we could be on that forever but i'm willing to bet that you could track his family lineage and see a very gradual economic progression that coincides with discrimination in this country, so yes he was indirectly effected. Even if he wasn't effected at all, i don't consider it a 'waste of time and energy' to acknowledge history. There's a saying for that. D's 5th grade social studies teacher falls in a faint:

Wow Josh Howard is just like a little kid. It looks like he just doesn't like to think what he is doing. This is just a lack of respect. I am not saying you have to be big patriot, but at least show some respect.
