How long before he is another success story gone completely wrong, and is out of the league?

In the lockeroom after a mavs playoff game loss, J Howard passed out flyers for his bday party going on that night. Avery was pissed.

This was a few days after his notorious weed comments.

I don't see how this is a big deal, he didn't do anything that actually affected anyone. Thats his opinion and he has a right to it.

Is it "acting"? Depending on where and when you grew up, your so called "gangster" acting is not acting, but totally normal.

I understand him. I could never celebrate the USA national anthem even if I was from the USA.

You guys don't realize how fortunate you are just to HAVE a national anthem to celebrate.

Well, we could be on that forever but i'm willing to bet that you could track his family lineage and see a very gradual economic progression that coincides with discrimination in this country, so yes he was indirectly effected. Even if he wasn't effected at all, i don't consider it a 'waste of time and energy' to acknowledge history. There's a saying for that.

Wow Josh Howard is just like a little kid. It looks like he just doesn't like to think what he is doing.

This is just a lack of respect. I am not saying you have to be big patriot, but at least show some respect.

    Via Wikipedia...

-During his senior year at Glenn High School, Howard was cuffed outside of a BP gas station the night before his SAT examination. Howard had been loitering on the premises with some of his friends, and undercover cops believing the teenagers had been selling drugs detained them.

-In order to get into Wake Forest, Howard needed an SAT score of at least 950. Howard did not get a 950, saying his score was "somewhere in the 500s".

-On April 25, 2008 Howard admitted to smoking mar1juana during the offseason on ESPN-FM 103.3, hurting his reputation with the Mavericks.

-Josh Howard was arrested in Winston-Salem, NC for street racing, he was clocked at 94 mph in a 55.

    Can you say Dumb Ass?
