I think 3 point shooting takes some adjustment since the ball and the line are different in the international game.

Giddey is atrocious on offense…his offensive game is hideous he can throw some nice dimes, but he has a 20% turnover rate so far in his career…can’t shoot a lick either
There are some really serious concerns with Giddey's game, which is somewhat not surprising since those same concerns were present last season. The only difference is the media tends to be infatuated with raw numbers whenever it comes to rookies, so efficiency is tossed entirely out of the window. He is an atrocious fit with SGA. The on-off numbers when SGA plays with or without Giddey is staggering, but this is unsurprising because SGA is most effective with the ball in his hands. Whereas Giddey takes the ball out of his hands, but also doesn't space the floor. His NETRTG and +/- this season is actually the same as Jabari Smith, and we know Jabari Smith has struggled tremendously for practically the majority of this season save for the last few games. However, OKC is also 8-13 to the Rocket's 5-15, so despite winning 60% more games than the Rockets did, his +/- is just as bad as the weakest link in the Rockets' starting lineup. His play style allows him to rack up a lot of raw numbers in the right situation (ex. bad teams), not dissimilar to Westbrook. However, he is going to have a very tough time fitting in with practically any star player in this league. His shooting and scoring deficiencies means teams can always cheat off of him in every type of offensive player, and is defensive struggles means he will always be targeted on that end as well.
Funny the optimism in this thread for a Australian guard who's shooting numbers are atrocious, but yet we're concerned about Jalen Green & KPJ's efficiency? Giddey is FAR worse than any of these guys lol. I wonder why Giddey gets favorable treatment
