Sadly, this will only help to further an atmosphere of intimidation. The death cult inspires murders such as this one, and the "silent majority" either shrugs or supports it, or is actually too intimidated by it to say something against it.

The fact that religion that must not be questioned is interwoven with the threat of physical violence or death is a mix that can only end in a downward spiral of society, because without a free exchange of ideas and the possibility to question and criticize a religion, the more extreme interpretations of it will always win the upper hand.

That makes no sense whatsoever. The guy in Jordan was killed for poking a little fun at religion. Maybe idiots like you should speak out against that instead of bringing up something that has nothing to do with anything.
