You mean when Kobe rained 42 points in first half when MJ went to LA? No, I didn't type it wrong. That's 42 points in the first half and 55 the entire game. MJ certainly gave Kobe a lot of trouble.
lol are you dumb? do you not understand the difference between a 25 year old and a 40+ year old really are you that dumb that you cant understand the difference
I cant believe how many people on this board are claiming that kobe is better than jordan Its never been close, but this last final made that crystal clear for kobe fanboys...denial is sad
Uh. Would this be the game you're talking about? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/GSaKPHSEtRM&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GSaKPHSEtRM&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> Kobe was on fire, cool. But uh, how times do you see jordan guarding kobe and kobe guarding jordan? Tard.
People who think Kobe is better than MJ was didn't see MJ win his 6 championships. They just don't know any better. That's why they say silly, ignorant things that make no sense when trying to prove their faulty point of view.
Well, him being Michael Jordan, he always has the rights to have confidence in himself, and besides, he really was unstoppable in his prime anyway. He might appear to be a bit arrogant with the kids around, but hey, he was the best player ever in basketball history, he can talk.
I would resort to name calling here, but nothing in the english language would do it justice. The big difference between Jordan and Kobe is on the defensive side of the ball. Jordan was the best on both sides of the court as soon as he stepped foot on it (with the exception of hakeem). He was nasty, he made his teamates better, and he was unstoppable. No knock on Kobe, he's a tier below Jordan.
jordan made teammates better? more like his teammates made him better, he was simply overrated as the poster boy, whatever he did was considered "best", whoever disagrees must be "ignorant" , sounds to me these jordan fan boys really don't know any better
Honestly, have you watched Jordan play live? How old are you. NBA classic doesn't count. If I were you, I would disappear.
Jordan in his prime was better than Kobe, period. Don't bring up crap like that. If you watched him play throughout those years like I did, you would know what I am talking about. My grandma could tell you that.
Talk is cheap. Why don't you bring up some numbers? Maybe actually watch some of Jordan's games. I bet you haven't done either. I don't mind people saying Kobe is as talented as MJ or as competitive as MJ. That's all relative and based on what people know/seen. But, to say Kobe is better than MJ? That's crazy. Let's see him shoot close to 50%, get three more rings and a few more MVP trophies. Then we can talk about Kobe being better than MJ. Poster boy, pfft
Kobe schooled the HELL out of Jerry Stackhouse and Bryon Russell there. A possible 6 of those 55 against Jordan had Jordan shivering looking for the exit... Thats Tracy McGrady you're describing there. People tried to make it where Jordan was just a deluxe volume shooter & thats how he got all his points. When in actuality he was one of more efficient volume shooters, if not the best for a scoring 2 guard (on 2 pointers). He might have had some 9 for 30s but everyone else would have been 7 for 30. I'll agree Magic was ridiculous though.
This statement is absolutely ridiculous. MJ made NBA the league it is today, not the other way around.
Lets see.... Jordan and the Bulls, 3 straight championship. Jordan goes to baseball, Bulls didn't made it to conference finals. Jordan back with Bulls, 3 straight championship again. I wonder how does that works?
About MJ vs. Kobe, I'll say this: Jordan was the best player in every single Finals series that he played in; Kobe was not once the best player in every single Finals series that he played in.
