My translation: If Bosh doesn't go, we should keep Jordan Hill to be the next Scola, or Adelman can even groom him to be the new Shawn Marion.

I think Shawn is Shawn Battier, the first clone to come off the assembly line.

I hope hope hope he's working hard on 12-15 jump shot. I think Morey did a great job selling high on Landry. I think Hill can be an even better player. I'm still trying to figure out the Knicks approach on the deal. Seems to me Hill and a conditional first round in 2012 would have been fair. Essentially they gave us a free pick plus Jeffries while failing to improve. Its entirely both the picks they gave us will be mid lottery picks.

But yeah, I don't understand what the OP is saying? Hill may be Scola's replacement in the future, but the two have absolutely nothing in common in the way they approach the same position.

The thing is, you know, Morey is a numbers guy. He doesn't just go by conventional wisdom; he analyzes all the numbers and finds out something that really works, maybe before everybody else does.

I think he's figured out that that Bosh-Hill hair is the way to go. I think the McGrady deal was all about Jordan Hill's hair. We thought it was losing the big salary, or bringing on the draft picks, or even Martin. Now I don't think so. It's all about the hair.

I just can't see any other explanation.

It has to be the hair.

That's what I thought, but still....are we speaking in non-sequiturs? If so, here's one: "Do you walk to school, or do you carry your lunch?"
