This. I am a Hill fan, but I am happy as long as there is a plan to bring him along. It looks to me like there is. I expect him to be kicking butt by playoffs time.
It will be interesting to see how much they play Hill tonight. I think he can match-up well with their bigs.
My dude got cleaned up for his return trip to the Big Apple... already thrown down 2 hammer dunks in MSG.
Jordan's main problem now is the one he had last year. Old boy is raw but he is progressing and I think he is half a season or a full season away from being in position to where legit talk of him starting should start.
I'm liking Jordan 1.3, who goes up for the dunk instead of a soft layup. Clyde and Bull were just talking about this a few games ago how he never goes up aggressively, and it seems someone on the coaching staff must have worked on this with him. Very nice. Him developing this talent is the difference between heart-breaking missed layups and sure-thing, set-the-roof-on-fire/silence-away-stadiums monster jams.
Last year JHill did not show good hands for receiving the ball in traffic. This year he has shown marked improvement. The fact that Ish has been giving him pinpoint passes have also been a big help. I'm liking what I see from JHill. Sometimes he plays too aggressive and forces the play, but he should get PT so he wouldn't be too rushed and he can play with more discipline.
It seems to be true, how Adelman likes to stick with the Veterans.. Hill deserves all the playing time he can get, but Rick just won't give it to him.. Wtf??
Very good call. He's still a ways off especially with his lack of experience, but the kid should really blossom his 3rd and fourth year in the league. He's a backup for now. He has to bring the energy every game for him to play this season.
why not.....lets throw him into the fire and see if he can handle his own. He was a lottery pick and its time to stop making excuses for him. Its time to live up to the bill and the only way he can do that is to play.........it is written.
Thats a good point. What i am saying is when he plays starter like minutes(20+), as it has been shown a few times this season, he comes out as one of the most productive on the team.
Hill, Scola, Battier, Martin, Brooks. This would help our defense. We just need Jordan to stay out of foul trouble.
I didn't agree with this earlier, but now I do, the more time he gets the better he has played, sure we have played some crappier teams but what the hell Free Jordan Hill! He should start.
Wow... incredible how this forum is overrates young players. If any all our youngsters was a real NBA starter“s prospect, teams would be knocking our door asking for trades.
Morey said they are....that teams call all the time and ask about...in order of being asked. 1. Yao 2. Aaron 3. Chase DD
