Who is Jordan Hill? Is he a player on the Rockets? I haven't seen him in so long. Is he lost? Was he traded?
He still makes too many mental mistakes. Dumb turnovers and fouls. It's hard to put a bonehead out there, even if he's athletic.
They say that adelman is the type of coach that plays rookie/ inexperienced players if they're good, i guess hill isn't that good if he's getting minutes over these "Scrubs"
Brad Miller and Chuck Hayes can physically not do what we desperately need on the Rockets. Mobility and Rim Protection Jordan Hill makes an IMPACT. Screw the "Rick Adelman Offense". We need talent and athleticism If we want to win a ring with our backcourt...
<br> Actually uh Chuck and Miller turn the ball over much more. Chuck gets blocked 24/7...turnover. Hill made one bad foul today. The other was good, he just got unlucky on positioning (the charge/block call)
A lot of young players make boneheaded mistakes...our veterans were out there making these same mistakes. The only way Hill can learn from these mistakes is if he goes out there and plays. He's a better general option than Hayes, who is a situational player but we are giving him regular mins.
FREE HILL FIRE RICK HIRE JVG, he would know how to use this team with all are weapons and defensive potential and get them motivated to play.
+/- is and always has been an overused crutch on this board. It's used most frequently to support players that are touted to have "intangibles". Don't think +/- is overrated? Last season Scola and Brooks had negative +/-'s. BOTH were lower than Battier and Hayes. http://www.82games.com/0910/0910HOU.HTM Hill should be playing. Hayes should be sitting. But watching the game is the proof. Not +/-.
Jordan Hill should not be competing with Chuck for the backup PF spot, he should be the backup PF after Scola. Chuck Hayes should only play limited minutes on special situation.
