I;ve googled in the past, hoping to get a few laughs.. I don't think the knicks have one big board like we do. They have several... I think
i've been very surprised at jordan hill. he seems very composed out there on the court and able to finish around the basket
That Knicks forum is pure comedy gold. There is one fool who calls Jordan a Scrub about 30 times, Knicks fans must be the most delusional of them all after such a long period of being pathetic.
This is great stuff. There are some pissed off Knicks fans! "11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 blocks in 26 minutes against a team that made Knicks look very small and soft a few days ago. Muthabuckers, we better get Lebron and Bosh. I mean what the hell does D'Antoni do in practice?" http://www.ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=34470
That block in the 4th quarter against Perkins (I think) was most impressive. The offensive player had Hill sealed and had an easy layup or dunk. Hill came out of nowhere and not only got the block but kept the ball in play too. If somebody has that video, please post it.
From a Knicks fan: "What is going to get painfully more obvious is that D'Antoni blew this pick. Didn't play him and now we lack a middle presence and Hill is doing his stuff elsewhere. All the best to Hill. Sort of like Douglas, he played well when given minutes and he is doing it again, but the coach makes it seem like he wasn't ready? On a lottery team? I still can't believe we traded a lotto pick to get rid of Jeffries. Imagine if we had played him more and he played ok, we would have been able to at least get more (but probably would have stuck with him.) Sorry Andrew, couldn't find this thread (really, looked on the last 5 pages and it was probably under my nose). My post from the other thread: Last night vs. Memphis - 20 mins, 3-3, 9pts, 9 rebounds / 4 OFFENSIVE, 5 fouls (I like that). (Anybody see how he played? I'm just stat checking.) Again, why couldn't mike have used this guy? This was against a 36 - 33 Memphis team." http://www.ultimateknicks.com/forum/topic.asp?t=34341&page=7
I wouldn't consider Taylor a bust just yet... it's hard to get significant minutes on a team competing with Ariza, Battier, Martin, and Budinger...
I know a lot of guys are really high on Jordan Hill after watching a few games with him, but I don't really see it. Yes he's athletic, yes he's energetic. But his game is really raw still and will rely on a LOT of work in many offseasons to be a good player. How many times have we heard that? If he shows some decent improvement after this offseason then I'll be optimistic, but as of now I'm not a believer...there is a reason the Knicks gave him up so easily...
