Dorsey can't hit the 3 foot hookshot that even most guys at your local Y can hit consistently. The comparison is terrible. Jordan Hill does seem like a steal in all of this. He isn't better than Landry, but his energy level is there.

Jordan Hill 11 pts, 7 rbs, 5 blocks in 26 minutes

I think he should start at Center for the rest of this year. Who is with me?

I would tend to agree with this because Hayes hasn't been playing at top level lately.

I'm glad more people are jumping on this bandwagon, maybe Rick will hop on soon.

The guy is definitely a player. Getting traded will turn out to be the best thing that ever happened to him...

I was going to post this but you beat me to it. There's no point in starting hayes now. Let hill develop. He at least=hayes at this point, so it can't hurt to start him and have him play 30+ mins.

He develops a jumper, and he will be an excellent player. Rick is loyal to the guys so Hayes will continue to start, but I will admit I am starting to get iffy on picking up his option. With Jeffries, Andersen, Hill, Yao, Scola, big guy we draft (I'm guessing we draft a big and spend the summer resigning Scola and Lowry while hunting down another PG), I'm not so sure if Hayes is worth it.

also he's been doing this for a while now.

    His Per 36...

    13.7 ppg
    0.9 bpg
    9.9 rpg

Thats his per 36 for this entire year, i'm sure it is higher in a Rocket uniform. I think his potential is still very high.... Look at the guys (rookie big men) who averaged that in their rookie season. Of course thats not what Hill is averaging, but I think if he had been played as much as other rookies like Curry or Evans he would have easily averaged a double double. I'm very serious.

Jordan Hill is simply going to be a steal.

Worst case scenario a backup 4/5 that blocks shots, plays good man D, finishes at the rim (while hitting freethrows), and rebounds.

Best case scenario- He develops a 15 footer and is able to use his quickness to penetrate like Amare and also hit shots in the post, combined with the above attributes and he ends up an all star.

I really like watching the guy. Our playoff hopes are probably done, but the games are still fun to watch at this point. I would like to see Jermaine Taylor come back and get a few minutes each game.

Unless the Knicks just drafted him for trade bait, it is hard to see how they didn't see anything in him. I'm wondering if the NY fans are furious about losing him yet.

He has a jumper (not sure why I keep having to tell people this), he just needs to develop enough confidence to use it at game time. The kid can shoot, look at his workout videos.

    +1

Hill has actually earned the right to start, as he is actually playing more minutes than Hayes.

Hill is getting better by the day.
