File this under the 'Cool Story Brah'. At the Timberwolves game today while I was at the concession line I talk to this guy who turns out to be a former roommate of Chase Budinger. This guy was a walk on at Arizona and pretty much rode the pine the whole time. I ask him if he knew Jordan Hill and he says, "Jordan Hill is a b****! I gave him $20 to get me a six pack and he never did."
...from the guy who rode the pine, who once again has to watch Jordan Hil shine. Did you let the pine rider get back to work after you finished talking to him, Toyota center has to stay clean you know.
That's how he get's you. He reigns you in with his nice guy persona then next thing you know you give him $20 to go on a beer run and he vanishes never to be seen or heard from again. Spread the word people. We must bring this menace to justice.

Many years ago, I walked an afternoon round of golf with some friends and a fourth guy was added to our group. He told us that he had played basketball at Syracuse as a walk-on.... but he didn't even know who Rudy Hackett was when Rudy Hackett had been an all-American at Syracuse in those same years. Be wary of stuff you hear... and this wasn't even on the internet. No beer either.
He took the $20 and bought the first basketball of his life. Just because of these 20 bucks he went on to become a basketball player and later join our team. You can't make these stories up.
