Why did you say Hill is "bulking up"? Nothing in your cute little story explains the thread title. Did you catch him doing some curls in the restroom? Was he eating lots of fiber in his meal?
At fogo de chao they literally serve you meat until you can't eat anymore. Meat has alot of protein. Protein builds muscles. Building muscles bulks you up.
Which probably means squat for a pro athlete. He probably burnt that up in one practice + scrimmage. It's just one meal and it could just be to help maintain muscle he already has.
Then it's a good thing you didn't follow him into the restroom because he would have served you up some meat if he caught you trying to take pictures of him.
A guy can probably eat 2,000-4000 calories in one sitting at Fogo De Chao with all that meat and fat. That's just for one meal of the day. You can definitely bulk up with that kind of meal even after basketball practice and scrimmage. A bodybuilder can bulk on a diet as low as 5000 calories a day.
thank you KingSteve for quoting the knuckle touch comment .... so you literally were stuffed with meat when you were there?
Fogo de Chao is one of my favorite restaraunts. -"Filet Mignon wrapped in bacon, sir?" -"Yes pleeese!"
Hill would have given OP beef because he was trying to take a picture of his meat at a meat restaurant?
You're not going to bulk up off of one meal, that's my point. It's a long reach to claim he's bulking up because he was seen eating one big meal. We dont know what he ate the rest of the day, if anything. For all we know he hadn't had much and that's pretty much his calories for the day. We also dont know if he eats like that often. We don't know what his metabolism is like either. I can (and have) eat that many calories in one sitting, at 5'10 and 155, and i'm not going to "bulk up". There's wayy too many variables involved when a BB bulks on 5000 cals a day to compare that to a pro NBA player who's almost 7 feet tall.
