Right here. It's one game (didn't Tony Delk bust 50 in a game last season?) and he's tied for tenth in the league in scoring. We all knew he'd be a very good player---but he'll have to get that average up to 26,27ppg and punch a few more consistently before I'll consider him among the leagues elite of right now. I see him just below that right now.
Do you consider McGrady, Bryant, or Allen Elite? Jordan-23.7 ppg, 6 rpg, 5.3 apg McGrady-26 ppg, 6.9 rpg, 4.7 apg Bryant- 26 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 6 apg Allen-21.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 4 apg And he isn't doing it for a bad team either... at 15-14(Winners of 10 of their last 12), the Wizards are the 7th seed in the east, and 1.5 games ahead of the Magic.
Yeah, speaking of 'elites,' I'm really suprised Jordan can do that (51) or take losers like the Wiz on a multigame winning streak without Phil Jackson's great coaching ...
Now he's got 38 against the east's best team and it's still the third quarter. *He now has 42 through three quarters. At one point, he scored 22 points in a row for Washington. I love watching this guy play. Thank you League Pass! *And he finished with 45. Yeah, 51 points and then 45, what a fluke.
