Who cares about Natalie Holloway. She was a scumbag, who went to the island to pillage locals and partake in hallucinogens.

There was no evidence against Joran. Thus he is not in jail even though the police tried really hard to manufacture something. Leave the poor guy alone.

The guy is a sicko. No doubt in my mind he killed Natalie as well. I don't need any proof. He killed this latest girl just because she Googled him basically? Normally, if he would have been upset about it, then he would have asked her to leave while proclaiming he didn't do it. I'm not sure I buy that explanation he gave at all as to why he killed her. On the other hand, if something like that throws him into a murderous rage...then all bets are off I guess. If he was so concerned about being found out, then why even bother to use his real name? I think there is more to it as far as the reason. Maybe both girls wouldn't give it up and that led to him killing them?

All because she looked him up on Google when he went to get some coffee?? If you were innocent with Holloway, what do you have to hide??

I don't think he is being 100% truthful yet......

    Care to retract this statement?

Dutchman Confesses to Killing Peruvian woman.

    http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100608/ap_on_re_la_am_ca/lt_peru_van_der_sloot

LIMA, Peru – Dutchman Joran van der Sloot, long the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of a U.S. teen in Aruba, has confessed to killing a young Peruvian woman in his Lima hotel room last week, a police spokesman said.

Peru's chief police spokesman, Col. Abel Gamarra, told The Associated Press that Van der Sloot admitted under police questioning Monday that he killed 21-year-old Stephany Flores on May 30.

The broadcaster America Television reported that Van der Sloot killed Flores in a rage after learning she had looked up information about his past on his laptop. It said it had access to details of the confession but did not cite its source.

Gamarra would not provide details of the confession. Nor would the chief of Peru's criminal police, Gen. Cesar Guardia, when the AP reached him by telephone. Guardia said only police director Gen. Miguel Hidalgo could authorize the information to be divulged. Hidalgo's cell phone rang unanswered.

Asked about the Van der Sloot confession, a brother of the victim, Enrique Flores, told the AP "we are not going to make any comment. This is in the hands of the police, of the justice system."

Van der Sloot's confession came on his third full day in Peruvian police custody, on the eve of a planned trip to the hotel in which he was to participate in a reconstruction of the events leading to Flores' slaying, Gamarra said.

Flores, a business student, was found beaten to death, her neck broken, in the 22-year-old Dutchman's hotel room. Police said the two met playing poker at a casino.

Police released video on Saturday from hotel security cameras that shows the two entering Van der Sloot's hotel room together at 5 a.m. Saturday and Van der Sloot leaving alone four hours later with his bags. Police say Van der Sloot left the hotel briefly at 8:10 a.m., returning to the room with two cups of coffee and bread purchased across the street at a supermarket.

Gamarra said the case would now be turned over to prosecutors to present formal charges and Van der Sloot will be assigned to a prison while he awaits trial. Murder convictions carry a maximum of 35 years in prison in Peru and it was not immediately clear if a confession could lead to a reduced sentence.

Van der Sloot remains the prime suspect in the 2005 disappearance of Alabama teen Natalee Holloway, then 18, on the Caribbean resort island of Aruba while she was celebrating her high school graduation.

He was arrested twice in the case — and gave a number of conflicting confessions, some in TV interviews — but was freed for lack of evidence.

Joran's most recent comments said he found her reading stuff on his laptop and she apparently stumbled across something that tied him to the disappearance of Natalie Holloway...causing him to become enraged. Surely, it had to be more than just that he was a suspect in her killing. Joran said he did not want to do it but she intruded into his private life. He was also showing remorse.

So, if we're to believe this idiot, then he killed her because she found out the truth and that truth must be on his laptop. So, unless he tossed the laptop, that information should still be there...even if he tried to delete it. If he killed her just because she was using his laptop, figured out he was a suspect in her disappearance, and there is no incriminating evidence on it...then he just majorly screwed himself. Surely, there has to be something on that computer that incriminates him. If that is the case, then did he ever hear of protecting his laptop via password. Moron.

Maybe they can solve both cases now...and Natalie Holloway can finally rest in peace?

I gather that Miss Flores conducted a browser based internet search, rather than a search of Mr. Van Der Sloot's hard drive.

I doubt he had anything incriminating on his hard-drive. If he did, they probably would have found it the last 2 times he was arrested. I think it is more likely he has anger management problems, and when he got mad at her he took it too far. Then, he tried to figure out the best way he could get away, which wasn't too impressive. It reminds me a lot of the Yale worker who killed the grad student because of an argument.

Funny, the one article I was reading that implied it was more than that was on CNN and yanked/replaced with another article. Apparently, it had some wording in it that left it open to interpretation. But, yes, the other articles I've been reading implied she was searching about him on the Internet. I guess I don't understand why he just didn't yell at her and ask her to leave? Could it be because he is a psychopath? I think so. There may be something on that laptop that incriminates him...given how mad it made him to know she was using it. That would be nice.
