Hah, oh you gotta watch it my brethren! I want this thread to garner some discussion, we're going to need it. I'm going to see it again today because I'm cool like Austin hipsters, yeah!!!
Watched it this weekend, pretty good! Kinda wish they would of done more with the ending, but overall very good movie. Really interesting premise, kept me on my toes and wanting more throughout the whole film. Definitely gonna have to watch again, hope they make a couple of more of these.
This is such a good trailer because I want to watch the movie, and literally have no idea what the movie is about.
Even though it's the same genre I almost feel like it's a waste of time comparing the two. This movie is comparable to a really good, really long episode of Black Mirror.
I think so. I was late to watch interstellar so . . . the feeling that it was overhyped might have been upon me Rocket River
hah, yes!!! No disrespect I love Nolan and his films but Interstellar I just couldn't get into it. I thought the score was meh but that's just me.
Excellent film, well written and acted even though it runs through some well worn territory, solid piece of hard sci-fi....
Saw this last night and loved it. Great creepy tone and thoughtful script. Oscar Isaac really surprised me in this one -- he was fantastic, as was the lead actress. I even loved the ending, all of it. Spoiler I thought the Caleb character could have been slightly less schmucky and gullible; that would have made things more interesting. As for the ending, I know some people have complained about it in the reviews, but what exactly is a viable ending once you've painted every character and robot into a little sealed off corner? I thought it worked just fine, and it references many tragedies in its way, perhaps Heart of Darkness more than many others.
