Can you find me one article that calls Ruiz notoriously dirty and cheap? This sounds like an extension of your Najera bashing. An untalented loser who was the WBA heavyweight champ? That makes sense.

If Lewis retires, how do they determine a new champion?

The top 2 contenders for each belt--as determined by which ever governing body controls each belt--will fight for it. Don King had the WBA belt stripped from Lewis because Lewis wouldn't fight King's fighter (Ruiz). That is why Ruiz fought Holyfield and not Lewis for the WBA title.

Actually it was Antonio Tarver(#1 contender for one of the orgs) who was supposed to fight Jones next before the Ruiz fight came about. He is even trying to sue to get one of the belts stripped from Roy. They guy is going to get his butt kicked if Roy ends up fighting him.

Am I the only one that would love to see Roy Jones Jr fight Mike Tyson?

Ruiz had a much bigger size advantage over Jones than Tyson would. Jones has also proven than he can handle a heavy weight. I don't think he could handle Lewis or either of the Klitzko brothers but Tyson may be logical challenge for Jones. It would also draws obscene amounts of money for both fighters.

Jones is not one of these tomatoe cans that Tyson usually fights and has the speed and skill to get out of the way of Tyson's punches however Tyson has the skill to rush Jones and power to make him wish he never attempted to become a heaveyweight.

I'd pay to see that fight.

I'd like to see Jones v. Chris Byrd. Byrd is light enough (210 lbs?) that it might make a good fight. It would also unite the WBA/IBF belts.

RJ would school Byrd just like Ruiz. Byrd is more Jones' size but thats a bad thing because Jones has dominated smaller fighters for years.

I dont think Jones wants any part of Lewis right now but then again he is the best boxer on the planet so who knows. I have heard RJ might fight Holyfield. I think Evander would be in for some serious trouble with his speed disadvantage.
