DD, I've stayed out of this mess, mostly because I already know about the behind-the-scenes crap and it was just "bad form" to pile on with all the other haters. But after seeing you post the above BS for the umpteenth time, I've got to respond. First, I did not "run from an argument". We had already AGREED TO DISAGREE, but you insisted on asserting to the world that I was just buying into Rockets propaganda. Second, while I DID unfairly mention you in my "taking a hiatus from the BBS" post--which I was going to do regardless of whatever nonsense you were espousing that day--I apologized to you, both via Twitter and on the BBS. I don't have time to pull my post, but it was actually a rather lengthy and heartfelt apology and a request for everyone to lay off you. The truth is, you have repeatedly shown a tendency to badmouth people--including Clutch, myself and others--behind their backs, in addition to all the other crap you do on this BBS. While I don't think you should be banned for it, it certainly doesn't dispute Clutch's theory on what you are. And I didn't find about about your BS above until now because I had you on "Ignore", a move I now surely do not regret.

I'm going to avoid playing pile on DD to note that the BrianKagy thread in your sig was from the season that got us the lotto balls to get Yao Ming. How time flies. If Feigen or whoever has to sit on some information in order to continue to produce quality work, so be it. Mouthpiece or no, Feigen is the only one in the print media who puts out good Rockets related information (with apologies to Jason Friedman, who does a pretty good job for the Rockets official site), and Clutch is pretty much the only one doing that on the web. I'd rather they not jeopardize that for the sake of speculation. Feigen and Clutch have both been doing this awhile. They sometimes have to protect their sources, and they sometimes have to protect their reputation. I'd much rather them sit on information or wait to corroborate the information than fling mud against a wall. We have enough Fran Blineburys, Jerome Solomons, and Bill Ingrams. Why anyone would want to create more is beyond me.
My understanding is that this is a private site operated by Clutch. If someone wants to join it to discuss the rockets , then just acts as a growing man, make a contribution to the site if you can, If you can not (a person like me), then at least try to post somethings logically.
It is not bad mouthing, it is telling the truth of the matter, you knew exactly what you were doing when you left the discussion and said you were out of here. You wanted the attention you got - for people to beg you to come back and for them to blame me. Let's not act like we both don't know the truth. Now, you did apologize, and I appreciated that, but I don't forget that you tossed me under the bus in the first place. As for the rest, imagine that you are called a douche or an idiot day after day - and see if you find that "OK".... And R2K, if you want to post the chat logs, go ahead, frankly I am tired of reading that threat every time something like this happens...you show up and go..."Hey, maybe I should post that chat log"... As for Clutch - I agree with Deckard - my only beef with Clutch is that he tends to let personal insults fly and gets in on them himself, and yes, that ****ing pisses me off. I will say one thing it is nice that the old timers have all shown up from where they hide out to post in the GARM again, maybe they should do that more often. DD
