I agree this whole thread in retrospect is ridiculous. We are all Rockets fans there should be no need to have this much drama on a message forum. People should just act a little more civil on the internet just like they do in real life and none of this nonsense would ever occur.
There must be a way to calculate how much time DD has waisted on this forum. Surely lost a couple of years.
I have no earthly idea why I opened this thread today, but WOW! We often disagree on basketball issues, but I'm with you totally on this. It's irritating when some jerk starts the name-calling & insults and hijacks a thread into personal attacks. I've made the mistake of wasting time trying to show them a better way. People who rely on insults should be banned initially for a week, with the penalty increasing for subsequent offences. The obnoxious jerk problem would be solved very quickly IMO. People who know they are lightening rods and relish setting threads on fire by "walking up to the line but not crossing" also need to be banned.
This thread reminds me about how embarrassed I am by my past posts in the D&D. Reading this thread is like when you quit drinking and then you see what a drunk person is like when you're not drunk and you're like, "Damn, go away from me, or at least please stop talking, you are making me sad."
