Oh, and how many of you have blamed Morey for picking Dekker? Should Morey get credit for making the pick?

Most of the time, sports Hernie can be surgically repaired, and your good to go in 6-8 weeks.

Unfortunately, it's often reoccurring damage. i hope he works hard rehabbing.

I'll admit, I was one of the first to criticize the pick! I wanted Jerian Grant but Dekker is showing me a lot more than I think he had. If he continues, I think we should focus our efforts on trading for Okafor, rather than Rudy Gay. If we can pickup a big who can score in the post....I think we can get past S.A and GS.

I'd probably wait until he contributes something in an actual game before we claim victory on Dekker.

Fredette, on the cheap, I'd like. C'mon, let's just start launching from half-court, hope our beasts can run down our misses, kick it out and repeat... Surely beats watching last year's offense. With Fredette, Anderson, Wiltjer, and Gordon we got some deep-ball threats that might actually make. Shooters at every spot, please!

What makes me worried is, ok you surrounded Harden with shooters, but what happens when our only consistent playmaker isn't in the game for whatever reason... we still need another play maker outside of harden. Bleh.

I mean, it's just the summer league.

I feel bad for him. Hopefully, he will be 100 percent healthy soon. I want to see him defending
and dunking in a Houston Rockets jersey.

that's too bad. He seemed like he could be a Beverly type player, but with more length. Best wishes.

I wont lie that I have called Dekker a scrub but I cant praise him now because I have not seen him play yet and I will make the judgement after he has a few games in the regular season. Hernia are corrected with surgery.

Sucks for Payton, I think he's very raw but his dad's interview during the game was really good, and gave you some hope that he has the right mentality to be at least a Patrick Beverley level player.

Haha, I see someone already said this same thing. Great minds think alike.

(PS, since Jimmer is getting mentioned in here - I've wanted to see Fredette on the Rockets for a while for a minimum deal. His game isn't going to adapt to being a traditional PG, or a defensive player. He is mini JJ Redick in the NBA, but I'd take that as a 12th man on the bench.)

He can recover from a sports hernia, not worried about him long term. But I do think he needs the seasoning so the timing is poor.

This I can understand and agree really. But how many people waited before they threw Dekker under the bus? And now GP2?

Let's let The Mitten get back to form before we put him back in the drawer for good.
