Wow you people seem to forget history.

Can someone please name the 2007 Finals MVP?

How long did it take him to get to where he is right now?

Look I'm not saying V-Span is the next Parker or Ginobili but those guys were also late 1st and 2nd round players who made it becasue their team was willing to spend a long time in develping them.

When Parker came to the league he was young kid with speed and quickness. Without any kind of outside shot, no positional skills whatsover. He could run very fast and break his man off the dribble and that was about it but Greg Pop took the time and painstaking effort the develop this kid in what he has become today. Over time he developed a killer tear drop shot and guess what Parker still lacks shooting range but that hasn't stopped him from becoming a very good player and a top 10 PG.

I think we need to hold onto V-Span and work to his strength and not the other way around.

Please don't say "oh no way is hell V-Span is the next Parker" because none of you so called gurus could have ever predicted back in the day when Parker was drafted that he would some day become a Finals MVP.

I sure hope you're right. Feigan clearly speaks with management more than any other Houston journalist, and he definitely does them favors.
