Over the top much? Who's the twisted, tortured one?

If you've spent any time bothering to get to know the regulars, MR. MEOWGI is quite consistent in his randomness, yet he is definitely not immune to expressing interesting insight. Seems to me like he struck a nerve...

Agh, let's see whose nerve was struck.

As we speak, people's lives are improving in PRC, including the lives of those "cared deeply" by meowgi, aka, the Tibetans.

As we speak, Israel is firing more shells and dropping more bombs at innocent Lebanese civilians including women and children, meanwhile the lives of Israelis are in greater jeopardy as Hezbollah threatens to exert more revenges against its southern neighbour.

As we speak, the U.S. is letting the situation getting more and more out of control in the Middle East. The most powerful nation on earth is getting less and less respect among our allies. We are getting more isolated in the world. Our own national interests are being weakened, not strengthened, due to our extremely short-sighted and one-sided dealings with Israel. Still great many Americans are cheated by their politicians and biased media.

Time to wake up and seriously rethink our Middle East policies.

This is what this thread is all about.

Buddhism is not about not eating meat. There are plenty of Buddhists who do. And I don't even call myself a practicing Buddhist. But you are too busy supporting a country who killed thousands of Buddhists to do any actual research on the religion or you would know that. But I'm sure China education is not biased at all in this regard. Speaking of Yao, at least he can somewhat admit to his brainwashing.

Your hatred towards your so called "God King" is scary. And "God-King" is not an accurate translation for Dalai Lama, it actually means Ocean of Wisdom. Basically, "God King" originated from two christian missionaries who had stayed in Tibet for a while. After they failed in the conversion tasks, left Tibet and returned to Europe. So to hide their failures, they began their labelling of Tibet as a land ruled over by a "Devilish God King". Maybe if China would of learned instead of kill they would know this. BTW, supporting a murderous regime is what I consider embarrassing.

But this thread like the others is ultimately about the nature of violence and suffering, not policies.

I notice you wrote "Keep D&D Civil" at the bottom of your post but I'm not sure what you wrote above that exactly fits that description. Regardless of what you think of his position on China/Tibet or where he posted that opinion, there's no need for name calling and angry comments. I doubt he's an "intolerant bigot" or a mockery of buddhism just because he disagrees with you. He could easily make the same accusation about you.

Now lets all take deep breath for a second and relax.
