Yes, it is a lateral move. Both Van Gundy and Adelman are very good coaches, one isn't clearly better than the other.

But the point at this point isn't go bring in a better coach. The point was that Les and Jeff can't work together any more. They just needed to bring in the best coach who can actually work with Les. Adelman fits that bill.

 

Oh yeah, I completely agree with this.

You just had to know that JVG making fun of Les' request that he be better in interviews and with the press was going to tick Les off.

I mean if you are the boss and you tell an employee what they need to do and they ignore it....oh man.....
