Like most athletes trying to make a comeback... he's likely out of money.

Statistics show that its likely impossible to truly kick a serious addiction without some major professional help. He states he's become sober "on his own"... which is fine.

My questions about him arose regardless of his party lifestyle. I still don't think, if sober, that he has the smarts or body-type to last.

 

Do they really expect people to believe there is real interest in Manziel right now? The guy was just in court yesterday explaining to the judge why he wasn't complying with court orders. Part of the reason being he didn't trust the NFL drug program.

 

Manziel will at least be on a practice squad on opening day.

 

Has he even been training or working out? Seems like we would've heard something if he was.

 

He has been training in San Diego with draft prospects as well as working with George Whitfield again. He posts videos on his Instagram and SC of him training.

 

Does running around on the beach getting sh!tfaced count as "training"?
