I didn't pay attention much but for all of this to have been out since 2016 makes journalists and the media look like ass.

The first tweet is somewhat misleading, the judge didn't rule on Waldman's statements being factually tied to Depp under the principle/agent relationship, the judge ruled that it's possible to tie Waldman's statements to Depp if it can be proven that he was acting in an official capacity as his agent.

Judges typically don't rule on matters of fact, only matters of law.

Thus far there has been absolutely no proof even offered that Waldman was acting in an official capacity when he made the statements.....there has also been no evidence whatsoever that the statements he made were false.

They have 8 more hours of court time to bring some kind of evidence proving that Waldman made those statements at the direction of Depp AND that those statements were false or the counter claim has a real chance of being thrown out entirely.

 

That's BOLD....and probably stupid. I get it though, they are way behind and need a hail Mary pass. Given they only have 8 hours left, they better go quickly if they want to be able to cross rebuttal witnesses at all when Depp's team starts to call them.

 

It's likely a hail mary attempt at tying Waldmans tweets to JD or a last ditch effort to try and leave the jury with a bad taste about JD with a replay of an embarrassing recording which will no doubt backfire continuing the trend of AH's legal team looking just as awful as herself. Keep abusing him till the clock runs out. Keep kicking him while he's down. They have nothing else.
Maybe looking for tears or a breakdown so he looks guilty? Amber is disgusted by man tears so in her twisted and delusional mind that's probably the win.
The jury has listened to all the worst parts of JD in the recordings and texts, they're now just being fed sympathy for JD by dirty low blow lawyers. Apparently that's what happened when they deposed JD's psychiatrist.

JD should slow down his speech even further and run out their clock with some lengthy stories, but Rottenborn is a bit more competent than Elaine and will demand yes or no answers.
