That picture was on the outside of my dorm room way way back in 1998. It seemed to help me through the lockout year.
great thread, I just saw the new Johnny Cash musical on Broadway, "Ring of Fire"... it is still in previews, so critics have a chance to review it before opening night, which is sometime next week... the show is basically a celebration of Johnny Cash songs, there is no plot, but his life is represented by three "Johhny Cash" actors, each with their own "June" there is a young man, a middle aged man, and the elder Cash in his final stages of life.... they tell stories through song, and what impressed me the most was the ensemble cast. each player ws so multitalented, they all rotated on instruments, singing, dancing, and conveying the spirit that was Johnny Cash... it was the Broadway debut for many of the players, as most of them focus on their instruments in their hometown orchestras and symphonies... I also liked that they put in some songs by John Carter Cash, and as well as the cover songs that Johnny made famous, including "Dirty Eggsucking Dog", "Ive been everywhere", "Hurt" and others... they did "when The Man Comes Around", "The Man in Black", "Walk the Line", "Ring of Fire", "Get Rhythm", "Jackson", and many, many more...
