Wall acting tough was an overreaction, but it hardly deserved a tech. Just let the guys talk. If a shove or a punch was thrown, then ejections are valid, but this was whack. Wall did let it get to his head way too much though.

What kind of p***y bullsh-t is that? They're throwing guys out just for talking trash now? What he said wasn't even that bad.

Thought I heard in the video is that he only got a T. But it was his second, so he is automatically ejected.

2nd tech. In the video, you can see his coach say 'that's your 2nd tech' with an exasperated look on his face.

I think Shane Battier and Luis Scola need to host a summer camp that teaches thuggish players how to play like consummate professionals. It'll be kind of like how Olajuwon teaches big men how to post up and create shots.

You gotta love how Klay Thompson easily pulls off the Bruce Bowen-esque nonchalant look after the dirty play. This reminds me of the infamous Robert Horry hip check except in this case Wall was ready to handle Thompson himself.

With the way the NBA is now, he could have said everything he wanted to but should have just looked the other way and stood next to Thompson in the process.

Wall didn't do the wrong thing there- Klay made a dirty play and John let him hear it. It's dumb that he got T'd up for it.

Wasn't a dirty play. Klay had his head turned when Wall walked up to him. Klay was simply stepping and reaching for the ball. Wall initiated that whole thing. He should've been rung up by himself. Acting like a r****d.

Refs called a T before Wall could escalate that verbal beat down to a full blown dougie dance in Klay's face. They did the right thing.

    What?

They've blown us out in 2 games, while we barely won the third.

AND like you said, it took a ridiculous effort by Harden to, again, barely win against OKC.

One game does not equate a series. If we need Harden to put up 40+ a night just to make it a close game, it's not happening.

I agree with T'ing wall up. If you go to a player and say "Watch the next time you come to the basket. I'm gonna knock you out. Come to the basket. COME TO THE BASKET" then officials need to step in. It isn't trash talk, it's a threat.

That hip-check on Wall deserved a mild hockey response.
Shame on that sideline ref for calling it out-of-bounds on Wall.
