Building a Wall will keep all those bad westbrook shots out of Toyota center

I like this guy to build around in the event of Hardens departure. If he stays fit he and Woods could be a couple of nice foundation pieces.

We need leaders on this team and it looks like John will be one of them. I like having a “true” PG on the floor to help get guys where they need to be. CP gave us that when he was here. Russ didn’t do that cause he is not a real PG.

It’s obvious this year’s team is going to be a big problem for singular vs. plural. Here’s A refresher on what we’ve got now:

    Singular Wall
    Singular Wood
    Plural Cousins

All the remaining incumbent players are still singular, except Clemons who is plural.

The part about wanting to extend his career was encouraging. Those are the kind of words I wanted to hear from Westbrook.

Everyone's already said it because it's evident, it jumps off the screen - Wall looks and sounds like a leader. Maybe he's just a more polished speaker because he had to develop that quality in a market like D.C., I don't know, but it's just a different vibe you don't get from Harden in interviews. I really hope Wall can stay healthy.

Main reason John Wall is a Leader.
Has helped lead D.C in underprivileged neighborhoods.
He helps children in Hospitals, literally has friendships with kids on a personal level.

So much community work. Houston Kids need him.

For years I appreciated John Wall the player and person. Great person and a Great Leader.

What I found confusing is the seemed genuinely upset about the trade. Not that he didn't want to come to Houston but more so he was happy in DC. I thought all the reports was suggesting Wall was disgruntled in DC and wanted out. Which is it?

I liked Wall's enthusiasm and he looked quick/sharp in that highlight.

He wasn’t upset about the trade. He just had a lot of people there he had to say goodbye to
