This, Nash played for a team that didn't care about the defensive side of the ball.

Stockton. His numbers are deflated because he retired.

But I am surprised with all the love that he is getting despite being a former jazz.

I voted for Steve Nash because John Stockton and that entire Utah Jazz team can blow me.

John Stockton played for Utah so Steve Nash wins by default. Plus, Nash had longer hair throughout his career and that accounts for a lot when deciding between the two.

Nash is Canadian and isn't a Jazz player

    Nash wins regardless

I too voted for Nash because he wasn't ever part of the Jazz, much less a Jazz icon.

If you replaced Stockton with Nash on that Jazz team with Malone, Nash might even have better numbers on the offensive side.
