I'm not wearing red colored glasses all the time, but if We can get past Dallas....i honestly believe we will beat Phoenix in a seven game series. Now San Antonio.....that's a whole new beast. I really do not believe we can beat them in a seven game series. They play the same type of game we do, but they do it better and more consistantly.

I completely agree. I'd be thrilled if we made it that far, though. And then we'd have the off-season to pick up a really good defensive 4 to help us next year. Hopefully through free agency, not through giving up any of our current core.

Even though we are the supposed underdogs, I would be hugely disappointed to be eliminated by Dallas. I just think we are a better team with more potential to go further in the playoffs.

I think Stern's hoped-for match-up would be Phoenix vs. Miami. You miss out on Yao vs Shaq, but you get Amare vs. Shaq. Plus, Phoenix's running game. Plus, it would push the rest of the league to be more like Phoenix next year, if Phoenix were to make it that far in the playoffs -- a style which would revitalize fan support.

Good point Juan Valdez- I agree- people would love to see running, speed and excitement...

I agree with an earlier post person-I will be thirlled if we get past Dallas. With our A game - excellent defense. We cannot contain Nowitski, but if we could contain the team we have a chance. In a 7 game series I think the Rockets defense is better than Dallas by a small margin. They have better shooters.

If we did get past Dallas - the confidence level could carry us past Phoenix possibly. Make them play our game.

San Antonio is soo consistent they will grind it out and win in a 7 game series. That would not be anything to be ashamed of.

I would love to get to the finals - facing the Heat or Pistons would not be as tough as SAn Antonio....

I would not be surprised at all if San Antonio loses to Denver in the first round. Duncan is a little bit gimpy. Plus never underestimate the mile high altitude.
With the way Denver runs it is hard to beat them in Denver. I predict that Denver will win all their home game. So all they have to do is squeek one win out in San Antinio and they win the series.
I predict Denver in 6 or SA in 7.

Then he also said that Kobe Bryant is a better player than Michael Jordan, he would ABSOLUTELY have killed MJ if they played in the same era.

BTW, he thought very highly on Scottie Pippen. Just that you know as a Rockets fan.;)
