Hate to dig up an old thread like this, but I just downloaded Continuum (from a legal site), and I think I'm a John Mayer fan again. I had Room for Squares a few months before it hit, but I got tired of him after hearing "Your Body Is a Wonderland" for the billionth time, and I didn't enjoy ANY of the material from his follow up album. He's playing here on campus in a few weeks, and they were giving out free tickets to students as I walked through the Union a month or so ago, so I thought "ah, what the hell, I'll pick one up, and if I decide not to go -- I'll just give the ticket away." Anyways, I just randomly downloaded Continuum and I've been really impressed with it upon first listen, it seems genuine, which is what I liked about Mayer on Room For Squares...the music seemed from the heart and honest. I'd recommend this one to anyone who tired of Mayer as he got somewhat overexposed. Looks like I'll probably end up going to that concert (if I can find the ticket I got a while back...)
