Here's a link: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2960066 they gave Pargo a $4 million deal. Who knows they may still want him, but it doesn't look like it. Didn't Pheonix want him when we signed him?
rockets can't afford to. if they cut him now they could end in a situation where they might have to give away a decent player plus pick/s just to stay under LT.
Denver ould be interested. with knight noone knows where might endup, denver needs a backup for atkins. Send Snyder and Lucas for reggie evans.the nuggets get a expirer in snyder and a sold backup for atkins. they also get rid of evans's contract.
Morey actually said that he's not going to trade Kirk because his ability to get to the rim.Still nice trade but we can get more than Reggie
Well then try lucas & Sura's expirer for evans. evans would be a great backup for yao if deke dosent return.
I agree but Nuggets don't think so.Maybe Justin Reed,John Lucas III for Evans?I wonder what Darly is up to!
Maybe trying to find a way to cut team salary. http://blogs.chron.com/nba/2007/08/sunshine_state_of_mind_for_me.html
I would think Sura's expirer Would have more value then justin reed. personally i think the Nuggets ould be all over a Lucas and sura for evans deal. the nuggets wanna get tax reliefe.
I had a feeling we were gonna keep Sura's expirer to get some tax relife. thats fine by me. i think Les has been terrefic in terms of taking contracts like butler and james to get us over he top.
And there is no way to keep Mike Harris? Or Carl Landry? It will be interesting to see how Morey'll work it out.
I think the article indicates that Landry Will be Signed and Deke will be Re-Signed. Sura will be waived for cap reliefe. we'll probaly waive reed and harris to
things would get a whole lot easier if they can dump alston's contract to the bobcats even if it meant getting nothing in return, ie not even cash or a pick.
Justin Reed WILL NOT be waived. Including his player option (which he is likely to exercise), he's got TWO YEARS left on his deal. The Rockets aren't paying the guy for two years to go away. He's still got enough talent to make this roster as an athletic defensive forward off the bench catching spare minutes here and there (imagine a more athletic Ryan Bowen). While I definitely think that Morey is trying to trade him, Plan B would be to keep him over wasting money to waive him.
Yeah and he isn't old veteran type of player,he's in his best years. He has talent, strenght and size.I don't know him too much but I think he will be nice fit in Adelman's system. And yeah he needs to develop jump shoot.
The Rockets could just trade JLIII to Boston in exchange for cash and a the trade exception the Celtics got for Delonte West as part of the Ray Allen deal.
