    I'd say that not factoring the era in which a player was dominant is also not the best way to go.

    You don't think that the 1990 version of Hakeem (26pts, 14rebs, 5blks) couldn't have averaged 45 and 25 in Wilt and Russell's era?

    I also think Shaq is overrated, but he is a talented offensive player. He has a few moves under his belt, his power is just so overwhelming he chooses to use it to his advantage and rightfully so.

    How can any Houstonian put Shaq over dream. Disgusting.

    Lopez has no credibility. Unbelievable. I'd take Hakeem over Shaq at any point except maybe their first two years in the league. But after that it's Hakeem every year.

    For all of you who want Dr. J off the list or either to young to know or truly forgot how good he actually was.

    Doc was a legend at Ruckers Park as well as in the ABA, by the time he got to the NBA he was already in the mid years of his game... He virtually changed the game as you see it today with that street ball style to it.

    I am ok with the list and depending on who you ask the list will basically be the same except for a few names added, removed or changed.
