John Legend

One of my favorite R&B/Soul artists but man, am I the only one that HATED Evolver?

 

Revolver was all right, but Once Again is his best work in my books. With Revolver he was just getting more into the dance/pop sound, but "If You're Out There" is still great.

 

are there a limited number of good black singers??

 

I'm in love with his new song. I hope his next album is in this mold.

Of course... just like there is a limited number of good left-handed orthodontists.

That said, I have not idea what Mr. Brightside was trying to say.

 

I didnt offer him much of a chance after seeing "Legend" in his name. For whatever reason it struck me as kinda conceited. Really it says more about me than him, though I still havent tried to listen to him yet.


(It was after seeing "Musiq". Thats not just a 1 word name like Ronaldinho or Usher - that's saying you ARE music. Not a form it it - all of it. Pretty bold. But I guess being called "Heaven" can be considered bold too, though its not)

I like John Legend as well but i like his little brother Vaughn Anthony more than him

 

John IS a Legend.

Gents, the Evolver album will really get you laid.

Take it from aussie rocket...the CD needs to be on rotation in your bach pad.
