I agree with this; though i prefer Jalen Brown. With the proper substantial additional compensation, we could net a fair return with these kinds of players as package center pieces. Great thing about Boston is they have other team's valuable picks; the compensation won't be devalued as Boston wins.

 

If they aren’t winning anything they might as well start a rebuild by taking on expiring contracts and picks.

 

I'm fine with both and I wasn't fine with the rumors around Miami.

Morey better put Simmons, Thybulle and 2 FRP on the table if he wants to get this done.

If James goes to Boston , Miami, or Brooklyn they are favorites to win the East.

Morey now has three teams interested that could supplant him for good and basically end his career short.

If Morey gets Harden for that package. They will win the east.

Philly doesn't have the patience that Houston does for less than finals appearances that's a revolving door.

Lead is a lot different than done deal but if those trades are accurate, Miami isn't topping that.

It would take Herro, Robinson, Precious, KZ, 2 FRP and finding other teams to provide FRP for Iggy and Olynyk to get into their ball park. I don't think Riley is willing to go that far.

4. Siakam + OG

Agreed but if it's Brown + Smart or Siakam + OG... there's a big debate there. I'd lean Toronto.


Brown is a 4.5 star prospect. Smart is a 3 star asset.
Siakam is a 4 star asset. OG is a 4 star prospect.

I'll say this only once because it'll sound weird, but I've always seen Harden in a Celtics jersey, and only a Celtics jersey since these rumors started. Every once in a while I get premonitions.

Anyways, I wouldn't mind sending him in a package for Brown. Also, love the fact that there's some wicked jagged broads up in Boston and he'd be going there.
