This would be nice. I just want to know how committed to Houston Ben Simmons would be. The Rich Paul talk makes me super nervous that he will ask out after a few years.

John Wall and Ben McLemore are both Klutch. I’ll take the risk.

That's an incredibly good haul for Houston. Maxey is legit.

I wonder if they could stagger it into 2 separate deals....Like the overall deal is as proposed but you leave maxey out until Jan 1 when he can be dealt. Then on Jan 1 do Maxey for Clemons and a 2nd or something. Leave it to Morey and Stone to do something innovative like that so the big pieces don't have to start the season on their old teams or sit out.

Guess who follows him? the puppet master himself. This guy probably has legit sources. Guys that Morey Twitter post referring to Harden as king was not random. It meant be defiant I’m going to get u.

It wouldn’t surprise me. It’s made too much sense from the start, but if Ben Simmons is available now he’ll be available at the deadline. I’d rather wait to see this team actually play some games than cave at the offer of Simmons now. I truly believe the organization is going to end up regretting trading for Simmons if that’s the deal they settle on. Hope I’m wrong.

So the lineup would end up being:
    Wall/Maxey
    Gordon/McLemore
    Thybulle/House
    Simmons/Bruno
    Wood/Cousins

can we still try to swing something for MPJ? It would be amazing to slide Thybulle to the 2 and have MPJ play the 3 and have 3 dudes that can score in bunches at the 3-5 that are super young and dynamic.

it seems clear to me, from the Doc interview after the “Simmons is on the table” leak, that Simmons has requested out. I think Doc said something like “it is what it is”.

I would prefer to turn this into a 3 team deal and move Maxey out for someone like Lavine if we can get him.

    Wall / Gordon
    Lavine / McLemore
    House/ Thybulle
    Simmons
    Wood / Cousins

This guy made me remember about a kid that had some rumors out on twitter a couple of years ago, a guy who looked very young and was from Philly or at least talked about them, but can't remember his name...anybody remembers?

Although, I don't see any way that Harden/PJ going to Philly can work out salary cap-wise.

Harden alone for Simmons and Thybulle does work.

it works. They have a trade exception. If it’s Philly it’s both.

Does the nba trade machine not take trade exceptions into account?
