by next week, Oz will be in emails like Hey friend. Look, I’ve tried to ask nicely. Send me some gawddamn money radical leftist Fetterman is a threat to our nation click the link to rush a $100 donation Good day
This just tells you who they are targeting with these add, there is a certain type of person who responds to this type of message. Nobody who thinks deeply or critically will respond to that type of message, its amazing that people still respond to this stuff.
Or, will he be sought out and offered money to wear a Blacks for Oz t -shirt on the front row of one of his rallies?
Fetterman needs to take care of his health first. In addition to the recent stroke, he has a massive lump behind his neck, maybe that explains the weird choices of wardrobe to hide it. Screw politics man, I would focus on getting well first.
The small amount part is actually pretty typical of most campaigns trying to activate small donors. Telling people we need to raise $12k in 24 hours makes people feel like they can make a difference. If you say you're trying to raise $2 million in 24 hours, people's response will be "my $50 won't have an impact". That said, the pure desperation of "we might have to quit!" is bizarro and not typical.
He's a Fetterman supporter, so he should totally take the money, and as soon as he's on camera, switch out to a Fetterman shirt. Put the Oz campaign in an awkward position of having to drag the black guy away.
I don’t know how well Ham Bone (Fetterman’s nickname in college) will do as a Senator but his social media game is MJ level. He just pummels Dr. Oz on social media. At this point Oz should stop trying to go at Fetterman in the media because the response from Fetterman is just brutal. At this point Oz needs to hope Fetterman has to drop out because Fetterman has painted him as an out of touch carpet bagger that sells trinkets to suckers.
Oz is basically hoping that Fetterman will get on the debate stage and start exhibiting severe motor and neurological deficits…he is praying for a ”Fetterman is not healthy enough for office” headline
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/pennsylvania-midterm-election-opinion-poll-economy-abortion-2022-09-14/ Polls don't look good for Oz (or for my $10!). The one bit of hope he has is that economy is the #1 issue, and voters think he would be better than Fetterman on the economy. Still, it's a long shot for Oz. Barring some big change, his best case scenario might be him losing by only 3 points or so.
Fetterman is the gun pointer. "As mayor of Braddock, John Fetterman chased down an innocent, unarmed Black man." https://www.politifact.com/factchec...sects-john-fettermans-2013-armed-chase-black/
Been posted. I commented how maybe he would sway some Republican voters as this becomes more common knowledge.
