Fetterman has no black support. He'll never win a national primary cuz he won't get the southern votes It's the same issue with Newsom nd Gretchen.

Warnock looks the strongest for 28. Comes from swing state with experience and has religious background which southerners love.

I think regionalism is overplayed given that a developer who lived all his life in NYC and Palm Beach won the Presidency. Also the current President frequently talks about his Scranton PA roots.

Regionalism matters in the democratic party more than GOP as the south is literally all conservative black democrats. It's the issue bernie had in 2016. He had support of white working class democrats but established dems went for Hillary which killed his run. Older black voters are much more conservative than those in the north. PA didn't win the primary for biden. South Carolina did

If you don't have black support you'll never go anywhere in the party. It's either harris or Warnocks to lose.

This is an overly simplistic view of black voters, who are actually some of the most sophisticated voters in the election.
Fetterman’s issue is that he may not have enough time to establish a track record to appeal to many black voters.
Sanders lost because he failed to realize his political vision was not what many black Americans wanted.

    Nah, **** Menendez.

He's a perpetual shitstain who managed to get caught TWICE in a disgustingly money craven Congress that is generally bulletproof from white collar crimes.

SCROTUS indirectly bailed him out the first time by defanging corruption prosecution while his friends like Feinstein and Schumer welcomed him back the microsecond after the mistrial, but once a crook, always a god damn crook.

That Cameo is harmless and taps into more of the resentment people have against the swamp in capitol hill.

People here like to act that partisanship doesn't get to them as much as Other Folks, but it cakes onto to you like nightly grease from working at a burger joint.

That's how accountability races to the bottom.

Are we sure he doesn't have black support? Philadelphia is a diverse region that he likely won (I'll check the maps later). Unlike Bernie, who never had to win over anyone other than white Vermonters, Fetterman had to win over a larger population.

I agree. I did say in another thread they both Santos and Menendez should be removed from office.

Fetterman had dismal black support and polls low with them now. Fetterman is MUCH MUCH less popular than his counterpart bob casey. I'm not sure where people get this idea that somehow fetterman is some juggernaut. He ran well behind the governor.
