Supposedly Chicago wants to hire him in order to steal Lebron. We saw him sitting courtside at Cleveland next to Dan Gilbert. Maybe Cleveland wants to hire him to keep Lebron.

Personally I think it's brilliant strategy, I'd pay Calipari 5 mil a year if it meant getting Lebron to commit. If it doesn't work out you can always fire the guy.

Lebron doesn't even know who he is.

Any NBA GM that wants Calipari should be fired on the spot.

They are pretty tight. Both are also tight with World Wide Wes. Chicago wants Calipari to combat NY and D'antoni.

Even if it means getting Lebron? You think he's that bad a coach?

All any NBA team needs to do is what his in game coaching. It sucks on the college level there is no way in hell it will work in the pros.

I know they are pretty tight since he was in the UK locker room but why would any team think hiring Calipari makes them a lock to get LeBron James?

    Could backfire

I don't think Calipari is that good a coach. I heard Mike Fratello had been interviewed by several teams and I hope the Cavs would pick him up. He's a good coach. He did a good job in Memphis, just never got enough talent though.
