Not just him...it's ESPN's fault. ESPN reported it first. ESPN is publishing his book. ESPN has a "behind the lines" exclusive with him on Sunday. If ESPN wasn't publishing his book, this story would have lasted about half a minute.
The fact that he's gay is a non-story. The fact that he's ripping Jerry Sloan and Karl Malone is a story. That part makes me smile.
Good for him...As long as he's happy...Not sure what his former team mates think or other guys around the league...Its like baseball, football, etc, no one comes out while they're playing...
It's a story. He's the first to come out. Gay men might really appreciate his story. Now a really big story will be an out of closet pro while he is still playing.
