When you are a severely undersized PF/C, you can't afford to slack off occasionally like other players with size. A lazy 7fter can still get a contract.
You have to go at 100% all the time like Ben Wallace/Chuck Hayes. Dorsey has never developed their level of work ethic.

Having your passport taken away because of excessive partying in Mexico? When I heard that story from Clutch, I didn't think he would last 3 years.

the NBA is business and this was obviously a business decision. There is no such thing as a "low move". Joey Dorsey just simply can't impress anyone enough to stick anywhere. We had him riding the pine for 3 years and ended up trading him only to see him get waived by the next team...

maybe if the NBA turns into UFC on the hardwood, Dorsey could be MVP.

I agree. Armstrong is useless. At least Dorsey will give you rebounds and block shots.

But Dorsey just peaked and showcased at the right time before the trade deadline which makes him on of the piece that enables us to get Martin.

Armstrong is guaranteed. They have to buy him out for the last 2 weeks. Then, they can dorsey for 2 weeks.

It's completely worthless to the Rockets, because neither of those guys will be on the roster for next year. Jordan Hill has taken up any minutes that Dorsey would have had.

Sorry 2 years..the point is if the guy can't stay on a team thats a dozen games under .500 with 10 games to go, the future does not look so bright.

I think Joey Dorsey should sign with Phoenix Suns. I think that kinda style will fit him nicely. Suns needed a big man since Robin Lopez is out now. Good Luck Joey!!!!

So the Kings made him practice and get all tired and THEN tell him "yeah man you're cut lol"?

    Harsh man... harsh.

I heard it's because they gave him an IQ test and the result came out a negative number.

How can you trust the talent evaluation of a team that has averaged 25+ games under .500 the past four years?

    Adrian Wojnarowski tweet (WojYahooNBA):

Kings cut Joey Dorsey largely for clownish behavior, source says. They don't consider him bad guy, but coaches feared his act rubbing off.
