you are assuming Chuck will budge. what makes you think he will? I think many people have lost a lot of money betting against Chuck. I'm not placing my money on a 2nd rounder to beat him out so fast.
i like tank! hulk is cool too. Antoine Roccamora...Half Black half Samoan, used to call him Tony Rocky Horror (jk)
I like "Freight Train" (though that name will inevitably remind me of this Sprite Commercial). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pwSOfW-9jXw
if chuck beats dojo out, it'll be because chuck finally figures out how to stay out of foul trouble , and dojo can't stop beatin fools up.
I for one am excited about this guy. As I recall Carlos Boozer was the 34th pick overall. NO I am not saying that Dorsey is Boozer..... but I am hoping that as a player that he contributes more than someone like say Swift or Kwame Brown has. While he is under sized so was Charles Barkley. And again I am not comparing his offense to these guys, just hoping that he contributes. I think he could end up taking the spots of Chuck and Landry both. If you watched any of his play you can't help but love his athleticism and he seems to have a lot of heart! Something this team can always use more of!
I'm excited about dojo, too, and could see him supplanting chuck in time. first he'll have to go through the "rookie calls". u know he's gonna foul out of his 1st 6 games, right? he's gonna be a bull in a china shop at first and that's ok with me. the L will adjust and he'll adjust, as well. as for taking landry's spot, I'm not so sure. carl has the potential to develop into a punishing 3/4 and be a nice change of pace from say a donte greene (if & when he gets time behind tmac). so carl's gonna get minutes one way or another. on thing about dorsey, though: if he develops quickly on the defensive end, if carl and donte develop quickly (big IFS), they could make scola expendable. scola and our expirings (and maybe even shane) suddenly makes for very attractive tradebait around midseason. getting that 3rd star may be a little easier then.
Don't get me wrong, I like Landry and definitely see your points. The thing that worries me the most is his health and the money he will be asking for. With Dorsey, I think Landry's value to the team is now less than, lets say, what an athletic swingman would mean to the team?
