You don't call three quick and untimely calls in the first half totally taking Yao out of the game, another never called offensive foul against Yao early in the 3rd quarter, and erroneously ejecting Ron in the fourth making much difference in the outcome of the game?
well we know crawford is trigger happy and aside from kb's elbow to rons throat i thought he made maybe 2-3 maybe 4 bad calls. not too bad considering his history. im not feeling to well about yao's knee. i think thats what got him into foul trouble not the lakers defense, fronting, double teaming, etc.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Crawford Wiki is truly efficient. I'll wait and see if tonite's game will show up too.
The refs did a very poor job tonight. They allowed too much trash-talking and taunting to happen. Kobe was shouting provocative words after every made shot. Odom was talking crab after blocking Luis Scola's shot. And Walton and Sasha, those two idiots, also thought they had the right to talk? I know trash-talking is part of the game, but Rockets are the last team that would possibly initiate that. The refs gotta do a better job of reading the situation and punishing those who triggered and escalated it. Good guys prevail in the end, I believe.
f*ck crawford...why is it so predictable on how the game is called from the refs. Something about that just doesn't deem right to me
I didn't really think that the foul calls on Yao were necessarily incorrect tonight. As for Ron being ejected, it was not the right decision, but it was midway through the 4th, we were down 11, and it seemed everything was snowballing against us already. I would like to think that Ron would have made a difference, but the way the game was going I just felt the Lakers had too much momentum regardless of whether Ron was out there or not. So no, I don't think Crawford effected the outcome as much as some of you guys obviously do.
I did not notice joey the rascal tonight. Finally for once. Actually the refereeing was good tonight I thought. They just let them play which is what the players want.
Well, it's obvious that you realize that most people here disagree with you. I think you are trying to hard to see it balanced when that didn't exist in this game. This was JoeyCrawfordReturns!
I think either the NBA sent you here to post for them, or you just want some attention...so there you go...I quoted you.
That third foul on Yao was total bs and immediately take Yao out of the game. Gasol's arm was in between Yao's arm and chest when Yao grabbed that offensive rebound. That should have been a foul right there on Gasol.
Agreed. This is actually a legit basketball move bigger players use all the time. Opposite of the fade away.
If Ron Artest got ejected for getting in someone's face talking, why wasn't Lamar Odom ejected for getting in Luis Scola's face after blocking his shot and talking major trash?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? It is plain and simple that the NBA League Officials got exposed tonight, along with Kobe Bryants dirty ways.
NBA, where dirty fakers and rapist and boxers and refs happens. Tell you the truth, when I saw that shining ****ing bald, I smiled.
