Men, it's ok to watch. A lot of us did.

18.6 million women — and men — like 'Joe'

    By Gary Levin, USA TODAY

Joe Millionaire charmed the ladies — and fans at home — as the latest reality series premiered Monday with 18.6 million viewers.

Among them: 13 million 18-to-49-year-olds prized by advertisers, the most for a premiere on any network this season. Surprisingly, 42% of those viewers were men. "I was shocked," says Fox entertainment chief Gail Berman, whose fall season was hitless.

The show is a twist on ABC's hit The Bachelor. Eligible Evan Marriott, 28, winnows a field of 20 potential mates who are told he has just inherited $50 million. In fact, he's a $19,000-a-year construction worker, a fact the women don't learn until the show's finale.

In riding The Bachelor's coattails, "we took it a couple of steps further," Berman says. "So much of this notion of the truthfulness of relationships and 'What do you love me for?' is out there, and we caught that wave."

At least one of eight early ejectees, Katy Richardson, 24, says she was neither surprised nor bothered by being duped. "Nobody knew what the twist was, but I wasn't dumb enough to believe there wasn't something."

Turns out, he has actually been modeling for this company called 'California Muscle' ... a vendor that sells provocative "outfits" for men. I went to the site and it is basically Victoria's Secret catering to men.

If you goto the this site, you can see his part in the catalogue. You have been warned!

And if he wasn't a millionaire when the show filmed, he will be once the show is done with, with all the various talk show appearances and whatnot.

Did you see all 3 of them, or was the first one enough to spook you? If you saw all 3, I think I know which one you're talking about!

Most talk shows don't pay that much, if it all. They may pick up the airfare, if needed, and other expenses but that's about it.

He'll probably get some modeling gigs and whatnot. Just look at the first cast of survivor...they've certainly faded away after their initial hoopla.

It's not as good as that one cuz these guys didn't manipulate the pic and blur out the more salient features of "Joe".
