Deron should go to Dallas to win(4 years 75 mil)...but if he is getting a 5 year offer from the NETS for a 100 mil(plus Joe Johnson has a 126 mil contract to be paid out)...There is zero room for Dwight...

The Joe Johnson trade has saved ATL...Marvin Williams was an added bonus...

They have Josh Smith to work with...plus a myriad of expiring contracts...
Right now...expiring contracts are good for teams like Memphis, Chicago...that are in financial binds...

What happened to our Rockets...:(...went from being so excited last week...to looking at the sad reality...the Rockets may actually pick again at like 10-14 next year...

Dallas doesnt have enough to make a trade work. He's coming to Houston and he will learn to love it!!

I know Joe Johnson makes too much money, but he and Deron Williams should make a heck of a backcourt. If they could add Scola to their team I think they'd have a really good offense.

good luck getting our 14th pick any time soon. mwuhahhahha.

those seem like small objectives for taking on joe johnson's contract and seemingly knocking yourself out of the chance to acquire dwight howard.

LOL, yea I meant Josh Smith. Anyway, Atlanta failed with Johnson, Smith, and Horford. Really surprised they could get rid of Johnson and Williams. I would think Hawks fans would be thrilled with these moves. A new start in Atlanta.

JJ's contract is bad but this has another Celtics styled superteam vibe to me. When the current Celtics team was put together most thought it was going to fail.

    DWill
    Johnson, Marshon
    GWall
    KHump
    Lopez

Unless they don't have the cap space I really don't know why they'd let KHump go.

Forgot about him. That should have a pretty good team in the East.

    Deron
    JJ
    Gwallace
    Humphries
    Lopez

Not bad at all. I think Deron/Joe Johnson will be a lot of fun to watch.

It looks like Atlanta becomes a serious option for Dwight:
    -his hometown
    -good friend Josh Smith there
-can trade All-Star level player in Horford OR
-can wait until free agency and sign him outright

Sadly, that's a top 4 team in the east.

They also have that dynamite scorer in Marshon Brooks coming off the bench.

Because he wanted nothing to do with this team

Couldn't Orlando offer him the same thing after the season?

Just seen on espn that this deal is contingent on D Will staying with the Nets.

i think its hilarious that the only team howard wants to play for doesnt want him .. he is stupid if the NETS is the one and only team he likes, there are so many teams that have a better shot of winning with him than the nets
