$11 million per year... I know, I know that's the new average/norm/whatever, but hard to get your mind wrapped around that after he was just bought out by the Nets.

LOL. I was just thinking the same thing.

If someone posted on the forum 2 years ago that JJ would get waived and then get a $22 million contract for 2 years, you would have banned him for trolling.

That Bev and Ariza deals look cheap now.

Heck, even Brewer is now tradeable without giving up a 1st round pick because the Sixers have to take on more salary to make the minimum.

BREWER To Sixers for Sixers 1st round pick. GET IT DONE MURRAY

Gordon Hayward. Rodney Hood. Alec Burks.

And the Jazz just dropped $11 million per on a FOURTH wing?

Unless they view Johnson as a small ball PF, I'm not sure I get this one.

Still a better player than Evan Turner who got a lot more.

it's crazy. Why would Utah spend their money on such an old player when they have Hayward and Hood and Gobert to pay soon?

I think they have to hit the salary floor, and they're lacking in veterans.

Exactly. Teams have a lot of money to spend. At least this guy knows the game and can still shoot, occasionally at least.
