Although you see the gear is casting a shadow while the paper isn't which might be case if the paper was held higher than the floor. I don't know if any of this is relevant and I'm willing to take WWR at his word but I enjoy the speculation.
Seriously, what's the point of even having a judiciary system or cops when we can just take all the criminals out back and pop' em dead. Yee-haw, Texas-style!!!
HYPOTHETICAL: Person A bumps into Person B in a club or whatever Person A apologizes but Person B ain't hearing it Person B begins being a jerk and starts a Fight Person C calls the cops . .and tell them he gonna break it up the Cops tell him stay put . . but he does not Person C tells Person B to stop Person B is standing over the beaten man about to leave. . and tells him it ain't his business get lost and Go f*** himself and turns away Person C shoots Person B . . stating he felt threatened Was Person C justified? Using the Joe Horn Logic? FACTS OF THE CASE: Person B had just commited a crime [assualt] Person B was not a 'good guy' Person C Ignored the Policeman's request Person C would not have been in danger had he not intervened I choose this hypothetical because .. IMO this could be a normal night at any night club Rocket River
The only issue I have is not that he shot them in the back, but he told the dispatcher he would kill them and the dispatcher warned him not to go outside. Horn making the 911 call tells me the man was not in panic (his decision to shoot wasn't a split second reaction)...he was not in danger of losing his life when self-defense is justified. The guys were not a threat to Horn until he stepped outside. The guys didn't break into his house. Horn put himself in that situation...we will never know if the guys were coming at him and turned when they saw his shotgun...the other party is dead. Horn's story doesn't add up...instead of escaping when noticed why would burglars come towards Horn? But they were two burglars and illegal so I'm very unsympathetic. If Horn was charged with murder, I wouldn't have a problem.
